Experience the nature and rich biodiversity of Guatemala City. Known for being an active and cosmopolitan city where the colonial and neoclassic architecture mixes with modern buildings and historical museums has also important green areas, Guatemala’s capital city is the habitat of animals and plants native to the area. Around 6, 000 hectares of forest distributed in ravines and other green areas are the home of 115 species of birds, 1500 species of plants, 40 species of mammals, 750 species of insects, 12 morph-species of arachnids, 76 species of reptiles and 50 species of butterflies.
